Baseball: Never Too Old to Play "The" Game

by Author, Al Spector

Never too old to play baseball

Never too old to play baseball

Baseball's America's game

It puts all others to shame

You can play when you're older

With sore knee, back, and shoulder

Strike out? There's no one to blame

There is a philosophy of life that guides us to pursue the passions of our youth as we grow older. What were you passionate about when you were ten years old?

For many, their passion was baseball--playing it, watching it, and using it as a bonding agent for cross-generational family relationships. The author is fortunate, at age 62, to still be playing the game he loves, the game that bonded him to his father, and the game that bonds him to his son and grandsons.

Baseball: Never Too Old to Play "The" Game captures the essence of continuing to play baseball while growing older at the same time--pursuing the passions of youth.
