Making Citations

Like washing one’s hands, citations are a necessary obeisance to good hygiene. Words are the writer’s stock-in-trade, her inventory, if you will. The benefit to you is a good night's rest, and to the pub? It will permit Kathleen to continue adding New Brews to the website.

As you see, Molly's quite the collector
And CDs, books, tapes, are her nectar.
Information may be
The most critical key
That a writer consumes to direct her.
Intellectual-type property
Seeks citation, though poems are for free
Don't forget to attribute
A just, fair, small tribute
For her writing's her inventory.

The World Wide Web is going to shorter descriptions, so website, homepage, online, email, and printout are becoming the preferred forms over those with hyphens and spaces. How nice, less typing.

To properly cite this website, copy and paste the following URL:

http://www.here-be-limerick-poems.com

for it warms the heart for an author to see her work mentioned.

Links, Anyone?

And if you should happen to think
That this writer knows how to spill ink.
Your directory
Is a strong one? And free?
Well, would you consider a link?
