Ghost Writing and Other Writing Services
Ghost writing is an honored past time which I entertain. While this is mildly interesting, a number of visitors have asked where all these limericks came from. Except for a handful from talented contributors (and those are attributed) they are all original. However, I write in other genres as well:
writing websites, of course,
freelance fiction non-fiction, and other poetic forms including children's poetry. Should you require freelance writing, please contact me.
Ghost writing is one of the writer's venues but is anything as much fun as satire?
Put Kathleen to work for you:
Ghost writing takes your words to the next level. Should you find this writer's style matches your requirements, we welcome your inquires.
Of course, it has been said that good writing avoids the abovementioned cliches. However, one day, while working on a bone-dry academic document, a cliche oozed from my fingertips, and then another, and then, my Muse dumped a truckload of them upon my empty screen. She said it was cathartic to get it out of my system. What inspired this plethora of cliches? Why of course, the regrettable thesis! Some folks sail through the advanced degree process, others merely plod, hoping one day the torture will end. This is dedicated to those of you in the throes of your own regrettable thesis. I hope you find it amusing; you might even find it familiar. As for the rest of you, you are the special children of the gods.
And yes, the diploma is now framed and double-matted, gathering dust on a wall in the dark stairwell to my hidey-hole office. Projects extant include:
Freelance work for Cincinnati Woman Magazine. Keepsake Book of Love and Marriage (released June, 2007). Contributor to A Pocketbook of Limericks (to be released 2007). Literati Limericks (to be released first quarter of 2008). Other samples of my writing that are not limericks will accummulate, by and by, on and under this page, as the spirit moves.
There may even be excerpts from the Great American Novel ;-), an historical fiction, standing now over 100,000 words and undergoing yet another draft. There is another manuscript in the drawer for young adults, nearly complete, but resting.
If you copy from funny birthday poems, please do not forget to attribute to Jeannette Ramirez as author (unless otherwise noted.) Webmasters, thank you for supporting this project by linking. For the poem count at Here Be Limerick Poems visit our home page.
