The theme for Dad's Day is "Dad, started thinking of you" for those times that it's impossible to be there in person to deliver funny poems. On such holidays, the mind often turns with sentiment to that great guy who fed you, clothed you, and passed on the work ethic to you - often by standing you in back of the lawn mower!

When is Fathers Day? The third Sunday of June, which for 2009 makes it June 21st. For 2010, it will be Sunday, June 20th. If you're knitting a sweater, start now for 2010- you'll need time to unravel and rework those sleeves.
