If You're Looking for a Limerik

If you're looking for a limerik, don't forget the "C."

Here are some limerick examples - using family birthdays just for fun. These short funny poems are lots of fun to write and a really different way to send birthday greetings.

Happy Birthday, Ye Olde Thing

Happy Birthday to someone unique
With an aristocratic mystique
From the bluest bloodline
Aging like a fine wine
And that's kinder than saying "antique."

Happy Birthday, Anyone

Happy Birthday, it's your celebration
Consider it ratification
Of a day legislated
For when you were created
One deserving our commemoration

Happy Birthday, Brother

Happy Birthday to you, my dear bro
You bring sunshine wherever you go
Your demeanor disarms
And that's one of your charms
Though it's seldom that I've told you so

Happy Birthday, Sis

Happy Birthday to you, little Sis
Too often, I don't tell you this
But I love you a lot
And this gift that I bought
Comes to you with a hug and a kiss.

Happy Birthday, Brother-in-law

Here's the best Happy Birthday to you
Let's go out, bro, and hoist us a few
More like sib than in-law
You've got je ne se quoi
Here's a toast that is long overdue.

Limerik? Limericks? More here - on dieting - however you spell them.
